The most anticipated event in the custom home industry, the 15th Guangzhou Custom Home Furnishing Exhibition & Light Luxury Custom Exhibition, has officially opened! Maintaining its massive scale and popularity, the exhibition covers 100,000 square meters and brings together approximately 800 brands from across the supply chain. With a powerhouse lineup, extensive new product launches, and high-profile themed activities, the event has become the central focus of the entire industry.
Under the theme "Customization + Better Living," the exhibition aligns with market shifts, consumer trends, and national directives. It highlights key industry movements such as light high-end customization, water-based lacquer finishes, whole-property solutions, home renovations, elderly-friendly design, integrated furnishing, smart manufacturing, and global expansion—showcasing the boundless potential of China’s custom home industry.

The exhibition continues to be a hub for industry leaders. Many companies have used the platform to debut new products and brand strategies:
· Aesthetic Competitiveness: Some brands are deepening their "high-end" positioning through design innovation and the fusion of cross-industry materials.
· Technical Edge: Others are focusing on water-based lacquer technologies and craftsmanship.
· Efficiency & Quality: Several brands now combine high-end aesthetics with industrial-scale efficiency for reliable delivery.
· Material Innovation: Metal-based customization (including stainless steel and aluminum) for whole-house scenarios has reached a new level of maturity.
· Niche Markets: New consumer segments are being reached through cross-industry collaborations, such as trendy "E-sports" themed home environments, while others focus on dedicated lines for partial renovations and integrated furnishing.

The Light High-End Pavilion has emerged as a major highlight, with long queues forming at various booths. From Italian minimalism and Oriental elegance to Wabi-sabi aesthetics and modern luxury, the exhibition shows a shift from mere "style displays" to "lifestyle proposals." There is a significant improvement in the integration of spatial design, functional modules, and scenario-based storage. Many brands have also optimized their pricing and delivery models, making high-end quality accessible to a broader market.

What defines a "better house"? The "Better Living Model Park," designed by ENJOY DESIGN and co-curated by over a dozen brands, provides a concrete answer by turning abstract concepts into daily living scenarios. It addresses the diverse needs of different demographics and family structures through modules focused on entertainment, health, storage, work, and social interaction.

The park’s opening ceremony on March 27th brought together designers, developers, and home furnishing executives. Key forums included:
· The "Storage-Friendly House" Forum: Discussed how storage systems are evolving from "supplementary functions" to essential elements that define spatial efficiency.
· The "DOMUS Future Habitation Summit" brought together experts from the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, design firms, and real estate and home furnishing enterprises. The summit provided an in-depth interpretation of the "Four Goods" (Build, Decorate, Sell, and Live in Good Houses) policy, exploring practical paths to implement high-quality housing standards.

The home renovation market is seeing a massive surge. The "Renovation Demonstration Zone," spanning nearly 3,000 square meters, is one of the most-watched sections of this year’s exhibition. Nearly 50 brands are showcasing innovative models and products for home updates, making the business logic of the "stock housing" era clear and actionable.

Age-friendly modification is another critical demand in today’s housing upgrades. The "China Intelligent Age-Friendly + Renovation Home Furnishing Ecology Pavilion"—jointly created by the Intelligent Age-Friendly Home Furnishing Working Committee of the China Silver Industry Association and the DRD Design Research Institute—made a heartwarming debut. Bringing together multiple brands, the pavilion covers every corner of the home, from the kitchen and bedroom to the entryway and balcony. By integrating smart systems with human-centric care, it presents a complete, holistic solution for elderly-friendly living spaces.

The integrated furnishing model continues to gain momentum. In collaboration with the Integrated Supply Chain Committee of the Guangdong Custom Home Association and the Redwood Home Improvement Procurement Alliance, this year’s exhibition launched the “2nd New-Quality Integrated Supply Chain Trend Expo.” Under the theme “Integrated Solutions Made Simple,” the exhibition features curated zones including the Themed Exhibition Area, Home Improvement Enterprise Zone, Supply Chain Zone, and Event Area.
On the opening day, leading home improvement companies conducted live-stream sessions to engage directly with end consumers and generate leads. Industry experts were also present for on-site consultations, offering practical insights into integrated furnishing operations. Meanwhile, dozens of home furnishing and building material companies showcased high-quality integrated solutions, products, and services.
The “Integrated Solutions Made Simple — 2026 Industry Development Forum” was successfully held, focusing on key topics such as business model evolution, operational efficiency, delivery optimization, and ecosystem collaboration. The forum provided a comprehensive, multi-dimensional analysis of both opportunities and challenges in the integrated furnishing sector.

The industry’s first Water-Based Coatings Pavilion made its debut in Hall 8, presenting the latest technological advancements and real-world applications in water-based coating for customized home furnishing.
The pavilion showcases a full-spectrum industrial solution covering coating equipment and accessories, coated doors and wall panels, decorative surfaces, coatings, edge banding, membrane pressing, wood veneer, adhesives, and more—delivering a complete supply chain perspective.
A fully operational intelligent water-based coating production line is demonstrated live on-site, illustrating an integrated solution across materials, equipment, production lines, and applications. Visitors can witness the entire closed-loop process—from raw materials and spraying systems to intelligent manufacturing lines—highlighting the maturity and scalability of industrialized water-based coating technologies.

Breakthroughs in advanced materials, eco-friendly technologies, surface finishing processes, and aesthetic design are continuously expanding the boundaries of material value, providing strong support for innovation in the custom home furnishing industry.
Leading brands across the entire material supply chain are gathered here to present their latest products and solutions.

Several themed material exhibitions were also curated to showcase cutting-edge developments from multiple perspectives:
· A nearly 1,000 sqm “Behind the Home: Good Materials Joint Exhibition” integrates material performance with real-life scenarios through four key themes: quality, aesthetics, light & shadow, and nature, redefining how material value is perceived.
· The Surface Trend Lab brings together decorative paper, PET films, wood veneer, coatings, leather, and more, while also introducing cross-industry materials from home appliances, automotive, and fashion sectors. It also unveils the 2027+ Home Aesthetic CMF Trends and their cross-industry applications.
· The UNIBOX Joint Exhibition, featuring 10 leading brands, creates immersive “box-style” installations using avant-garde design, presenting the full journey from raw materials to final artistic expression in customized home furnishing.

The Smart Manufacturing Pavilion focuses on digital transformation. Companies such as CAELUS, GongXiang, Chengnuo Machinery, Hongya, and Xinghongma CNC showcase fully automated solutions covering the entire production workflow—from design, order decomposition, cutting, edge banding, and drilling to sorting and warehousing.
In recent years, many companies have been upgrading toward mid-to-high-end and premium customization. As a result, stable and efficient delivery has become a shared priority for manufacturers, distributors, and end consumers alike. More advanced digital and intelligent solutions for this segment have become a key highlight of this year’s exhibition.
