From July 23 to 26, more than 20 representative enterprises from China’s large-scale custom home furnishing sector—including OPPOLIA, MACIO CASA, Paterson, KEFAN Home, Snimay, Huangpai Custom, RIVE GAUCHE, and Zuoyou Home, among others—will make a collective appearance at International Architecture, Interior Design & Building Exhibition Malaysia  (ARCHIDEX) 2025. Showcasing the strength of China’s custom home furnishing industrial cluster, these brands are jointly targeting the vast ASEAN market, valued at trillions of RMB, through a coordinated international presence.

As the largest architecture and design exhibition in Southeast Asia, ARCHIDEX will feature 850+ exhibitors from over 40 countries this year. In 2025, the China Guangzhou Custom Home Furnishings Exhibition (CCHF) will partner with ARCHIDEX to jointly launch the China–Malaysia Custom Home Furnishings Zone.

The zone will bring together enterprises across the upstream and downstream value chain, including custom furniture, doors and windows, panels, hardware fittings, surface materials, and metal profiles. By presenting the industrial strength and ecosystem advantages of China’s custom home furnishing sector, the initiative aims to further promote the international expansion of China’s custom home furnishing industry.

When Two Industry Platforms Meet: Shaping the Future of Custom Home Furnishings

Malaysia has a solid foundation in the home furnishing industry and a well-developed consumer market, making it an important partner for China’s custom home furnishing sector in expanding overseas cooperation. Through in-depth exchange and collaboration, both sides are well-positioned to jointly cultivate a new custom home furnishing market in Malaysia.

During ARCHIDEX 2025, an industry-level dialogue between the two countries—the China–Malaysia International Forum on Custom Home Furnishings—was held.

Co-organized by the Malaysian Interior Industry Partners Association (MIIP) and the Guangdong Custom Home Association, the forum brought together industry associations, leading enterprises, and design professionals from both China and Malaysia. Focusing on the development of Malaysia’s custom home furnishing industry, participants engaged in multi-dimensional discussions, shared industry experience, and exchanged insights on emerging technologies and innovative concepts.

Through open dialogue and pragmatic cooperation, the forum explored industry upgrade pathways aligned with local market needs and injected new momentum into the sustainable development of Malaysia’s custom home furnishing sector.

Inside China’s Custom Home Furnishings Global Expansion: A Closer Look at the Malaysian Market

At the same time, the “China Custom Home Furnishings Global Expansion Program · Malaysia” was specially organized, bringing together Chinese home furnishing brands, interior fit-out companies, and design firms for an in-depth field study of Malaysia’s real estate market opportunities and the development level of the local supply chain.
The program offered new perspectives for participants seeking deeper engagement in the Southeast Asian market, while connecting overseas resources through exhibition and industry association platforms.

The itinerary focused on a comprehensive exploration of Malaysia’s home furnishing industry ecosystem, including visits to Dynamic Furniture’s manufacturing facilities and Golden Home’s satellite factory in Malaysia, as well as site visits to Golden Home’s light-asset shared flagship store, Hangzhou Mingpin’s Malaysia flagship store, and major local interior design and material selection spaces such as Signature and iN Design Lab Design Center. These visits covered a wide range of commercial, manufacturing, and design scenarios.

Participants also attended ARCHIDEX 2025, Asia’s leading architecture and interior design exhibition, and the China–Malaysia International Forum on Custom Home Furnishings, enabling a full value-chain perspective spanning commercial operations, design trends, and manufacturing capabilities.

Leveraging the strong platforms and collective industry strength of the Guangdong Custom Home Association and the China Guangzhou Custom Home Furnishings Exhibition & Light Luxury Custom Exhibition, the initiative further connected with global industry resources, including ARCHIDEX Malaysia and BIG5 DUBAI, systematically advancing the global expansion of China’s custom home furnishing industrial clusters.
